Grey Wagtail

Grey Wagtails are not that common at the mere but there is a pair that breed nearby and visit on occasions. So it was nice to be able to capture this juvenile in some nice early morning light on the sailing club beach. Also noted this morning were several Chiffchaff still singing , a single Raven over and the Kingfisher still present. Mark Stubbs had a walk around mid-morning and picked up Meadow Pipits, Great Spotted Woodpecker , Nuthatch , Jay , two Buzzard's and Goldcrest . Butterflies noted two Comma , Speckled Wood and Small Tortoiseshell.
