Four Goosanders flew over early morning also Stock Dove , Willow Warbler , four Chiffchaff , four Goldcrest and single Sand Martin and Jay.

Eighteen Swift over early morning .

Flooded Field just south west of the Mere.

Aug 2nd

Kingfisher again early morning. We now have our full complement of Butterflies with Small Copper being the last on the list. That's all nineteen that we get each year , not unless we are lucky enough to have another Clouded Yellow the last being 2015.
