Common Scoter

The drake Common Scoter has now been present for 12 days, and as far as I am aware it is the longest staying individual at the Mere. It is spending most of its time diving and feeding smack central in the Mere. Which is roughly some 200mts from whichever side you view from. In turn frustrating the hell out of me because I use a DSLR camera and I can't get anywhere near it for a decent photo. Images below are the best I could manage out of some 11 hours trying.
