Monday 18th September

A party of seven Bullfinch two adults and five juveniles have been present in the conservation area for around a week now . Today was the first time I managed a photo of one of the juveniles. A Great Spotted Woodpecker was heard calling from by the visitor's centre , and five Swallow's over the car park. The Kingfisher was seen again in gorsey corner early morning and a single Grey Wagtail was in front of the sailing club. Several Chiffchaff are still in good voice and on the water there are 77 Coot , 40 Tufted Duck , 24 Mallard , six adult Great Crested Grebe and four juveniles.
