Dusky Warbler seen again today along the east bank at 12-30 along with Water Rail. The Dusky is proving very elusive and some days not seen at all. Also a pair Shoveler and nine Pochard (7 drakes).
Only heard about this bird today, but pretty sure I saw it in Town Wood a few weeks ago. It looked like a tawny-breasted robin. I'd worked out it was a warbler of some sort. We do get warblers occasionally in the shrubbery behind Mill Green flats but had never seen this particular one before. No idea it was rare.
